Samurai - S0150GNX - 17oz Uguisu Denim - Regular Straight
We could not be more excited for our introduction to Samurai denim to be this green Uguisu denim. We were lucky enough to be one of the few shops around the world to grab this "only available outside Japan" piece. The Uguisu denim's color is modeled after a small bird you see on the flasher. The 17oz slubby left-hand-twill is meant to mimic vintage British military fabric. It was woven at the infamous Shinya Mills and is packed with character. We've opted for the one-wash fabric here, and boy are we glad we did. It instantly takes a bit of that harsh edge from the fabric, without removing all the crunchy texture for which people know and love Samurai. This special edition seasonal pair is very limited. It was one of the most unique denim we've ever seen a year ago, and its second production run hasn't changed that. This is one of our top 5 all-time pairs of denim we've ever seen.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a 32 in the images. Its a classic regular straight with the perfect amount of width. We were fully expecting these to fit small with the one-wash, but he had no problem whatsoever slipping into the 32 in that classic straight fit. Tommy is 5'10,' 180lbs with a 32-33" waist.
